What does sustainability mean to ERC? It is an integral part of our business model. It is part of our mission statement. We strive to be 100% sustainable within the confines of necessary business practices and regulatory requirements.  Sustainable development means the simultaneous pursuit of economic vitality, ecological integrity and social equity. To be a sustainable company, we must work towards a strong triple bottom line: people -  planet - profits.  Some of our efforts include: 

A Paperless Office:  Our approach is to select the best technologies to facilitate this goal - double-sided printers, single page contracts, digital interview notes, fully integrated ATS to our CRM, Email, Website and Accounting and am array of internal goals and revolutionary practices.

Our Code of Ethics: We feel it is crucial for global sustainability to increase awareness and create a greater consciousness for use of our resources and everyone's impact. We are connected.  We ask our vendors, consultants and clients to sign our Code of Ethics to build this awareness.

Partnering with Plan Canada.
Child labour is a worldwide problem. We see an absolute void of activism to prevent childhood labour. As part of the Staffing Industry, this is a natural place for us to strive for global sustainability. We donate 1% of profits to Plan Canada to fight child labour and to create better lives for children in third world countries. Through ERC, our clients can contribute to this very worthy cause - simple, tax deductible and right.

Partnering with MyCarbonVault.com
We all follow the 3 Rs - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - this reduces our resources, not our carbon footprint.  We strive for 100% carbon neutrality. We contribute 1% of GM to being carbon neutral through MyCarbonVault.com.  We offer this service through unified invoicing  - our clients and consultants can easily offset their carbon in a single transaction with ERC.
